During their travels, the player crosses paths with a large swath of creatures all over the place. Each one has different sorts of treats that the player can feed them to befriend them and then lead them back to a farm where they can stay.

The visuals still look fantastic, but the one downside for people is that wild Pokemon battles are non-existent now. Instead, the wild Pokemon encounters are now just like Pokemon GO. This means you will have to throw balls with motion controls or with the touchscreen instead.

The Pokemon Trading Card Game had a massive resurgence this past year and may be as big as ever right now. Pokemon has a lot of fans at the best of times, but was a different animal.
