Vista no recording devices installed

It can take several tries depending on how many rollbacks it does. Then do same for Device Maker's site. Manually look at manufacturer's sites for drivers - and Device Maker's sites. Highlight speaker and on the lower Right click Properties check settings for Device Usage enabled and so on.

Windows 7 Hardware Compatibility. Sign in to vote. I have pc win7 ultimate and hd audio device from microsoft Under the recording tab it reads "no recording devices installed". All disabled and disconnected devices are showing apparently. I think I might have deleted my recording device by mistake.

I've updated my computer but no luck. I've also scaned for hardware changes in Device Manager. It's no longer there, is there anyway of reinstalling or downloading it again? I can't seem to record or talk on my computer mic. And whenever I try to open windows speach recognition, there's an error that reads ' make sure your audio hardware is working properly and check your audio configuration in Audio Device and Sound Themes control panel'.
